New found gem....

I love to travel.  I have the greatest appreciation to learn about new places , their culture and most importantly their cuisine.  I have been to France on several occasions and have a love for French food.
I recently found a cute little creperie called ChezVous.  ChezVous is located in Scottsdale, AZ in the Gainey Village shops.  I caution you however, if you blink - you can miss it.  I drove right by it the first time.  :)

Seating is limited and very intimate at ChezVous - you may get to know your neighbors you're sitting next to pretty well.  But the small quaintness of the restaurant gives it charm and character.

Inside it seats about 20 and there are some seating outside.
In the cooler months there are out door heaters to keep you warm.

The ambiance of the restaurant is very comfortable and relaxing. The decor is of course of French influence and the music that played softly in the back ground was light jazz or swooning French music and lyrics.

They serve breakfast from 730am-1030am daily.  Their breakfast menu consists of a handful of different three egg omelets, fresh fruit and of course wonderful croissants.  They have about 16 dessert crepes on their menu and they have 13 savory crepes that are served anytime of the day or night.

I decided to try the French Favorite - shaved ham, swiss cheese with a fried egg.  It generally comes with a side salad but since it was still 1030am, I asked my waitress if I could get a side of fruit instead.  She was more than happy to accommodate my request.  I could not have been more thrilled with my choice!  The buckwheat crepe was amazing.

The wait staff was very friendly and greeted each customer as they walked in. The customers really seemed to enjoy their meals.  There were even a few French folks in there enjoying it!!  I'm happy that I decided to give this little place a try.

I will certainly go back to try other items on the menu and I cannot wait!  I may grab some girl friends in tow so they can experience the adventure as well.  The more the merrier!

Oh!  And I did get a Pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) to go and it was très, très bon!!

~  Bon Appétit
